Cars on the Lanes

During a trip to New York, I filmed cars on the street from the window of my hotel. With several minutes of footage in hands, I worked to find short loops that could serve as sequences of notes, using the lanes a piano roll, like the one found on digital music softwares. Then I assigned each one of the loops to an electronic instrument. There was no manipulation of time or position of the cars. Just plain trail and error (and patience) to find good moments that could relate to each other.
