At the end of 2013, I was walking around Berlin and stumbled upon a box full of googly plastic eyes. I bought it, not knowing exactly what to do with it, but hoping that an idea would pop soon. On the New Year's Eve, I went to my ranch in São Paulo armed with my box of eyes, and suddenly I was seeing faces everywhere! Fruits, flowers, leaves, trees, rocks, begging for a pair of eyes, to finally express themselves to the human race (maybe knowing that we humans can only identify with our own kind). So I started the game, iPhone in hand, with a simple little rule: capturing the nature as it is. No moving, cutting, breaking or modifying anything in any way. Just sticking the eyes and snapping the pic. 34 images latter, I got the impression that our nature friends are a little bit scared of us humans. I wonder why.
